As you head deeper into the dunes, we stop at a high viewpoint to watch the sunset. The sky changes color, the sand glows, and everything goes quiet. It’s one of the most peaceful moments of the trip.
Morocco Luxury Desert Camp is a boutique glamping retreat set in the heart of Merzouga’s Erg Chebbi dunes, steps from serene Yasmina Lake. Hidden inside a tranquil palm oasis and hosted by welcoming local Berber teams, the camp blends comfort with true desert tradition. Sleep in spacious, air-conditioned tents with en-suite bathrooms, dine on refined Moroccan cuisine by lantern light, and fill your days with unforgettable experiences—from camel rides over golden dunes and 4×4 dune adventures to sunset on a high dune and stargazing under crystal-clear skies. Whether you’re celebrating, seeking quiet, or exploring the Sahara for the first time, this is the desert—slow, intimate, and beautifully crafted.

Whether you arrive with your own car or on a tour, your desert journey starts at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes. You’ll park safely and meet our team, then go off-road to where the camels are waiting. After a short briefing, you begin a calm ride into the Sahara toward camp. Prefer not to ride a camel? We can take you by 4×4 instead.
As night falls, enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner. The evening comes alive with the rhythm of Berber drums, laughter around the campfire under a sky full of stars, and the timeless magic of the Sahara

ATV & Buggy Adventure on the Dunes
For guests who want more adrenaline, we offer guided ATV (quad) and buggy rides across the Erg Chebbi dunes. After a quick safety briefing, you’ll drive over soft golden sand, climb dunes, and feel the power of the desert in a fast, exciting way. You can go for a short sunset ride or a longer adventure deeper into the Sahara. No experience needed — our local guides ride with you the whole time.

Cooking Class at the Camp
At lunchtime, you can join our hands-on cooking class and learn real desert cuisine with our team. You’ll prepare traditional dishes like Berber pizza (tabadert), a stuffed bread cooked in the traditional way, tajin, slow-cooked vegetables and meat with local spices, and couscous, the classic Friday meal in Moroccan homes. We cook together, you learn step by step, and then you eat what you made, served fresh at camp. It’s simple, fun, and a real taste of Berber life.

4×4 Desert Excursion
Explore deeper into the Sahara in a private 4×4 with a local driver. We take you off-road across the Erg Chebbi dunes, visit panoramic viewpoints, and stop in hidden spots you can’t reach by camel — fossil areas, old nomad routes, and traditional desert villages. It’s the best way to see the “real” desert and learn local stories along the way.
